Desain antik ZN5 dihiasi keypad datar berteknologi 'Modeshift', layaknya Motorola E8. Artinya, penggunaan struktur keypad bisa disesuaikan dengan fitur yang sedang digunakan dan ditandai dengan backlight khusus, serta sanggup menghadirkan haptic feedback (efek getar) tiap ditekan.
Kameranya berkekuatan 5 MP, yang dikombinasikan dengan teknologi 'KODAK Perfect Touch' untuk menghasilkan kualitas ganbar jernih, dengan format RAW atau TIFF. Beragam kemampuan layaknya kamera saku digital pun ikut disuntikkan ke ZN5. Sebut saja autofocus, Focal length: 5.56mm, Aperture: 2.8 / 5.6, Multishot mode, Shutter speed: 1/60 - 1/1000 detik (mode auto), Digital viewfinder termasuk xenon flash.
Hasil fotonya pun bisa langsung disebarkan ke dunia maya (Kodak Gallery dan ShoZu) lewat software Kodak EasyShare. Bisa juga langsung dicetak lewat KODAK Picture Kiosks atau KODAK All-In-One inkjet printers, yang dikoneksikan dengan Bluetooth.
Untuk fitur lain, ponsel ber-OS Linux dengan prosesor Freescale 500MHz ini juga menyertakan koneksi Wi Fi 802.11 b/g/i, radio FM dan juga slot kartu memori tambahan berjenis microSD.
